Keeping Your Dark Jeans Dark

When I buy jeans, I buy the darkest jeans available. This means for the first several wears, my hands, legs and shirt are temporarily dyed a terrible blue tone. At one point, the tan leather seats in my car started to turn the same color. Recently I heard about a way to set the dye of your favorite dark jeans. All you have to do is soak the jeans overnight in a mixture of {1/2 cup vinegar and 6 cups of water} then wash as usual. Voila! No more blue hands, legs or seats. Amazing.
